LB 20: Haku

It is crazy how the year is already more than halfway done! Last time I posted was in January, literally feels like that was ages ago though. Anyway, I wore this outfit during my brothers high school graduation  party (: super proud of my little brother! The headpiece known as a Haku, is actually hand crafted from Hawaii, which my sister had brought as a gift. I really like how the pink pops out amongst all the green leaves and tiny white flowers. Not really sure about the price but I think it was something around $40? Such a beautiful piece but I was so sad all the pink roses kept falling out! Especially since I was trying to preserve it. Grrrr! As for my lilac colored dress, it is from H&M! I think the price was $17.95 from what I can remember if not more or less. The ends are more pointed like which you can see in the very last picture (sorry, it is not a good one I know D:). Hope you like the outfit! (:

LB 19: Daisy Days

It is been awhile but I am back! Well, temporarily anyway. I have not posted anything since October but around that time I was super busy! That semester I took on six classes and it really took up a lot of my time. Hopefully I can be a bit more active on posting and if not, well you know why... School.
Anyways, I wore the XXI throwback blooms crop top with their retro daisy maxi skirt. It was over eighty degrees that day so there was not any need for a thin sweater or even a jean jacket which I was supposed to wear but did not. Since the top and bottom are so simple in their design they can pretty much go with any color. For the top I would have paired it with denim high waist shorts or high waist pants and for the skirt, pretty much any color could be paired with it.

1. Jeweled necklace. XXI.

2. Throwback blooms crop top. XXI. $8.80.

3. Retro daisy maxi skirt. XXI. $13.80

Happy new year everyone! (:

Mickey/Minnie & Bones

1. Mickey/Minnie raglan top. XXI. $15.80. So excited to wear this since it will go perfect with the Mickey Mouse leggings I have, the outfit will literally scream, "DISNEYLAND!" The top is over sized but that is how I wanted it anyway since it will probably shrink anyway. The shirt itself is pretty thin so I think if you wanted to add an extra layer I would suggest a denim jacket (It is not all that cold where I live).
2. Bones crop top. XXI. $8.80. Such a cute crop top! Honestly, I was kind of hoping the bones would be white instead of taupe but it is cute either way! I wore this the other day with my military green jacket, acid wash high waisted Levi's, and black Converse.

LB 18: Kai

My puppy Kai participating in one of my daily outfit pictures haha he is a better picture take than me! This dress was actually supposed to be a Christmas gift for someone but they did not show up last year so I just decided to use it as my own (it literally sat in the box for almost a year). I threw in a pearl choker and some nude heels since the dress is kind of a light peach color even though it looks white in the picture above and the ones below. Hope you like it, enjoy! :)

1. Light peach dress. H&M. I would tell you the price but I cut the tag off last year before I wrapped it haha

2. Nude heels. Anne Klein.

3. Pearl choker.

LB 17: Plaid Flowers

I wore this dress in three ways in different pictures (seen below) because I could not make up my mind on what I wanted to wear in the picture but the plaid top and dress changed to a skirt went really well together! I guess I just thought pattern mixing might look odd especially since I did not try it on prior to taking pictures of my outfit. The plaid top complements the floral skirt well even if the patterns are different and the colors are eye catching since the red's and blue's kind of pop. I also wore my Jeffrey Campbell Big Lita's to give me some height and to be honest these are probably some of the most comfortable heels I have ever owned. The platform gives so much support that these could almost be everyday wear. Then I threw in a simple black/gold clutch and of course my belt which helped keep my bottom in place (otherwise it would have been all over the place!). The second outfit I pretty much just removed the plaid top and wore it as a dress and for the third I just put a beanie on so not much of a difference between the two. Hope you like it though!

1. Men's Plaid top. H&M.

2. Floral Dress. $17. XXI.

3. Jeffrey Campbell Big Lita. Ebay.
